PEAR on Media Temple
The instructions from Media Temple to get PEAR running on the Grid Service don’t work with PHP4 (on my server), you get segmentation faults, so specify PHP5:
/usr/local/php5/bin/pear config-create $PWD .pearrc /usr/local/php5/bin/pear config-set download_dir /home/00000/data/pear/download /usr/local/php5/bin/pear config-set cache_dir pear/cache /usr/local/php5/bin/pear install -o PEAR
Replace 00000 with your site number.
